For Apolline, her 7th birthday marks a beginning of chasing new hobbies, passions and dreams that will eventually shape up her future. This is why, in honor of her special day, her parents threw a party that will surely live on in Apolline's memories forever.
A Party I Wish Would Never End
Already gleaming with a zest for new wonders, young Apolline, bright and cheery girl, has fully stepped into the next chapter of her life. It seems like only yesterday that she was a bouncing baby girl that her parents could carry all day. Her once-cute screams soon turned into loud shrieks that echoed throughout the house, and her floor-crawling movements soon turned into thudding sprints.
Apolline is slowly growing into a beautiful girl with already a mind of her own capable of choosing and pursuing what she desires to learn in life, to the delight and pride of her parents.
When asked about what part of her 7th birthday is her favorite, Apolline quipped “there is no favorite part because everything was great”. She shared how much she enjoyed her party, to the point that she wished it never ended.
To Become a More Responsible Ate
Apart from wishing that “all the people in the world to become happy and never get angry”, Apolline felt that she also needed to become a more responsible ate to her little brother Léon. Being 7 years old and already wanting to become a more accountable person is indicative of her maturity even at such a young age.
Apolline’s upbringing combining Filipino and French heritage, and the family's many travels to five continents to discover new sceneries and learn about diverse traditions, have contributed to her increased awareness about the world. The milestone age of 7 is met with a simple, "I feel bigger," from our little girl. "I know more things because of my family travels," she continues.
A Filipiniana 7th Birthday Theme
Apolline's Pinoy background was emphasized when her mother chose a Filipiniana theme as her 7th birthday's motif.
Apolline was joined by her parents Pascal and Rowena, her little brother Léon, grandfather Rodolfo, relatives and friends for a 7th birthday party to remember in the elegant Mayuree Grand Ballroom at Dusit Thani Manila.
As Apolline rocked her celebration in a custom Jacquard and Foliage Terno gown designed by renowned couturier Liz Enriquez, the afternoon party hosted by Mheng Choknat was filled with laughter, love, and joy.
“To my parents, thank you for everything. To my little brother Léon, thank you for dancing with me, I love you so much. Thank you to all relatives and friends who came to celebrate with me. A special thank you to Lolo. And thank you for being in my party as an angel, Mamie”, said a grateful Apolline near the end of her 7th birthday party celebration.
It will take our little girl a little more than a decade before she enters another phase, that of a young lady, but until then, Apolline will live the rest of her childhood and into her adolescent years to the best of her abilities, guided by never-ending wisdom and a desire to learn more about the world.
