Claire Porcadilla Made her Tiddletots Tutu Couture Adopt a Winning Culture

When Claire Porcadilla founded Tiddletots Tutu Couture in 2008 with her husband, she only focuses on meeting the clothing needs of their one-year-old daughter. It didn't take long for this side project to evolve and develop a winning culture, ultimately transforming it into a promising brand of toddler clothing.

After things picked up through word-of-mouth raves, Claire has set up a lofty goal of only producing the best works she can for her labor of love. “We always have the same ambition to create quality clothing that exceeds both ours and our clients’ expectations”.

Channeling Inspiration to Wonderful Creations

Prior to launching Tiddletots, Claire gained valuable experience working for various engineering companies, including Fujitsu. The lessons she learned during her time there proved to be instrumental when she eventually decided to embark on her own entrepreneurial journey.

Transitioning from the engineering industry to the world of children's fashion may seem like a significant shift, but Claire and her husband recognized a promising opportunity for growth. When asked about the sources of her inspiration for designing Tiddletots' clothes, Claire highlights two main influences: current fashion trends and her clients, particularly their children.

This approach has enabled Tiddletots to create clothing designs that children instantly adore, gaining them a loyal following among parents as well.

Forging Strong Client Relationship

When asked about her secret in dealing with clients, Claire didn't wax poetic; instead, she simply shared a credo she follows. She explains that expressing your personal point of view or belief in your own words can enhance and maintain a healthy relationship with clients.

“I think just being reliable and trustworthy is enough to maintain a healthy relationship with my clients.” Claire said. “Giving them advice about what type of dress suits them definitely enhances our relationship.”

Once she establishes a strong relationship with clients, Tiddletots fulfills that trust by consistently delivering what more than what their clients expect.

When it comes to satisfying clients' wants, Tiddletots can accomplish anything. However, in situations where the client's demands do not align perfectly, Claire offers suggestions and presents alternative designs that may be more suitable. She then patiently awaits the final approval from the client.

As for where Tiddletots is heading in the future, Claire promises to continue improving by catching up with one fashion trend after another. “I see our business blooming in the near future, with better and improved designs”.

Claire is also looking beyond children’s clothing as she also plans on leading Tiddletots to creating clothes for adults, especially to future brides.

“We also plan to venture from kids clothing to more bridal gowns in the future”, Claire said.
