Jelyn was quite enamored with her wedding gown. “This is it,” she expressed when fitting the dress for the first time. “When I saw the final gown, I couldn’t hide my kilig factor, as I truly liked the design and color.” The bride knew Ms. Evelyn had fulfilled her expectations when it came to her dream design. She shared, “I wanted a simple yet remarkable gown to use on my wedding day, so I just gave her a photo from a magazine that showed a pattern that I liked." The bride also learned that Ms. Evelyn had her own creative process when it came to designing gowns. So she made sure to listen to her designer’s thoughts on what would fit her best, and the results came out perfect.
With the approval of their parish priest, Jelyn had some blue tones integrated on her dress, as it symbolized purity and faithfulness. For some special touches, Ms. Evelyn added a layer of blue on the skirt, which changed from light to dark tones based on how the lighting reached it. "Our wedding photos were captured in different angles and lightings, which brought great emphasis on the gown’s different shades of blue. Moreover, I loved the ruffles of the dress, as it gave more volume to it. I also loved the blue sequins that highlighted the beauty and intricacy of the embroidery,” Jelyn shared.
Jelyn felt more confident while she walked down the aisle. There was also a lot of great feedback from her family and guests about the dress. She shared, “most of them said that I had a simple yet elegant gown. It definitely stood out given its blue hints.” It was also the first time that her husband saw the dress. His bride looked like a princess on their wedding day.
She is grateful to the designer for creating not just her dream wedding dress, but also fostering a great client relationship with her. “Ms. Evelyn was very responsive to my queries, especially when I had concerns about my gown and with the entourage’s jumpsuits. And when she’s not available, her assistant would always be there to acknowledge my issues. I genuinely like her because I felt her sincerity when it came to her suggestions and recommendations. And for that, I trusted her because she knew which gowns would best suit my body shape.”
Bride Jaq, on the other hand, felt ecstatic upon seeing her wedding dress. “Everything was hung and lined up for me to wear. I couldn’t wait to see every gown. I had to peek at the dresses one-by-one before getting my hair and make-up done. And to my surprise, all of them were fabulous and unique!”
Ms. Evelyn’s designs were unique and classy, as each one had its own character. From vintage to boho, to glamorous or traditional wedding gowns, she always had a perfect design that suited every bride-to-be’s preference. "Whether you fancy a minimal, edgy, or whimsical design, Ms. Evelyn is the best designer for that. She's an expert at crafting trendy creations that are both dynamic and fresh. You should watch her turn a sketch into a full wedding dress," Jaq shared.
ADVICE TO SOON-TO-BE-WED BRIDES | Finding the perfect wedding dress takes work and effort, as it helps mirror the bride’s character. But it also helps to have a designer who knows the design that will fit your personality, and who knows what your body shape is. Jelyn recommends keeping an open mind when trying on gowns. “Ultimately, brides may choose dresses that look nothing like the pictures they bring in. So try on what the consultant recommends as they know which gowns will best suit your body type,” she shared. “Also, follow your heart when it comes to the details that you want to see on your wedding dress. It is your nuptials, so it's important that you’re comfortable with what you’re wearing. Make sure that you also address any concerns that may come up from your first fitting up to the last one.” she added.
Ms. Evelyn Guerrero also comes highly recommended by Jaq. “Any soon-to-be-wed bride who is looking to make a statement on her wedding day should come to Evelyn Guerrero. With her, you're sure to get a dramatic, show-stopping and one-of-a-kind moment. That's guaranteed,” she expressed.
