In her own words, she walks us through her motivation for working in events, her hosting style and what she wants to bring to your functions.

BORN TO HOST | Well-versed in serving as an emcee for a lot of functions (Eg. weddings, debuts, anniversaries, kiddie parties, holiday events, corporate parties, product launches) Myra’s experience in the industry has equipped her with the skill and confidence to turn her personal and corporate events into memories worth remembering.

She chose this career path because it gives her a sense of fulfillment and gratification. She's always inspired to work with her clients and to see them happy, as they joyfully celebrate new milestones. “Everyone listens to you the moment you speak. It's a venue where I get to see so many well-dressed men and women, as well as different people, laughing and dancing. I get to see all of these in a beautifully decorated venue. How can one not choose this job I love?”

HOSTING STYLE | Myra’s style is spontaneous, flexible, engaging, lively yet classy. Her style comes with a sense of humor but is never offensive. "I am focused, quick-witted, resourceful. I always go to work with a happy disposition." With her line of work, she's prepared to face any unexpected or awkward moment. Her ability to adlib and connect parts of the program to create spontaneity is also quite amazing. That's why hosting for her is a big responsibility because it's a profession that requires a high priority. She shared, “I make sure that my clients are the 'stars of the night' so to speak, and not me. I also make sure that I’m dressed appropriately and pleasantly for the occasion."

THERE’S MORE TO COME | Aside from being a host and coordinator, Myra also performs voice-overs for concerts, poetry readings, and story-telling sessions. When she is not hosting, she provides consultation and coordination services for events with her dedicated team of coordinators - all handpicked for their skill and professionalism. “I can also help scout for suppliers that meet the clients’ requirements.”

WHY SHE’S WORTH IT | When asked what she could offer clients who'd want to hire her and her team for their events, she wholeheartedly said, "dedication." Her staff is always praised by their clients, as they're dependable, resourceful, hard-working, honest, energetic, respectful and presentable.

She also shared, “for every event, I give it my all to make sure my clients are free from stress. That's why I make it a point to arrive early, especially on the day of the event, for any final briefing. This is apart from our production meeting, which is usually done a day or two before the occasion. Besides these, I make sure that I get a chance to have at least one meeting with my clients, and sometimes, with my co-suppliers prior to the event so I could assure that we're all aligned." You'll see how dedicated she is with the way she quickly responds to text messages, emails, and calls because this is her way of valuing her clients' time and efforts.
